Clinical Immunologist

Dr. Lydia Chan is a New Zealand-trained Adult Immunology and Allergy Specialist. She joined the Meditrina team in 2023.

She graduated with distinction in medicine from the University of Otago in 2010. She began her specialist training in the Wellington region before completing it at Auckland City Hospital, where she continues to work part-time as a Consultant Immunologist. She has also worked at Middlemore Hospital, where she was involved in respiratory research. 

She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, and a member of the New Zealand Clinical Immunology and Allergy Group and the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy. 

Dr. Lydia Chan is available for consultations on Mondays and Fridays. She has expertise in evaluating and managing all aspects of allergic diseases, including environmental, food, medication, and insect venom allergies, urticaria, angioedema, and anaphylaxis. She also sees patients with immunodeficiencies and hereditary angioedema. 

Dr. Chan is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
